I tend to prefer casual style in guys, so it wouldn't be a turnoff in and of itself. It also wouldn't make me like a guy, who could be a creep wearing sneakers. But, yeah, as a style, I like 'em.

I live in Vans high tops and Alpinestar boots! High tops rock.

Chucks are nice but my feet hate them. I used to wear them a lot for skateboarding 20 years ago but wouldn't these days.

Old thread, but I don't really notice what's on a guy's feet (unless it stands out in a really bad way-- I'm a little tired of all the older men around here in "flip-flops' in the winter).
