Ah, but you're young. When I was your age, I had "doe" eyes, eye lashes long and thick and longest right at the end of my eyes.... but straight as an arrow, which is why I swear by an eyelash curler and waterproof macara.
But as I've aged, my hair has thinned a little, and those eyelashes are gone. If I wanted the doe eye look I had when I was young that takes individual sets of lashes...
But there is a tradeoff -- those heavy lashes I had when I was young are so wrong for me now. When I wear a ton of mascara, it accentuates the small bags I have under my eyes. And I have to put mascara on my bottom lashes, as they are so pale they aren't there if I don't, so I wipe wipe the mascara off the wand and just darken those lashes.
I am not sure what you are telling me I am wrong about because I talked about a few things, unless you think I am wrong about everything I've said.....

I'm sorry -- I cleaned all blessed day yesterday, I was posting while tired....
You're not wrong about false eyelashes.... but you're young and you have all yours and see no need for false ones. I know a lot of women who have gotten up in age and their eyelashes have thinned out and often they wear false ones -- usually not in strips, but the individual ones.

Oh really? I don't know anyone older than myself that wears them... I will be 39 in a little over a month. I would guess that some of my younger family members may wear them, like my cousins grandchildren or my nieces daughters, not sure.
It bothers me when my hair even touches my skin so there is no way I could wear anything like that...
I can't imagine being brazen enough to share my opinion on someone else's grooming. Maybe my best friend, or my daughters when they are of age.
Now, I do believe makeup use is at its best when you cannot tell that a woman is wearing it; when she just looks like she is naturally beautiful. This normally means tinted moisturizer, or light foundation; curled eyelashes + mascara, very light eyeliner, lip gloss one shade more intense than her natural lip color. You have to look closely to see that the wearer does not naturally have such dramatic eyes and dewy lips.
I do really dislike the heavily made up look. But anger or rudeness is absurd. It doesn't hurt me. I keep my opinions to myself (save for forums like this one.)
My SO and I went for lunch yesterday and I was telling him how pretty our waitress was. He told me he hadn't noticed. I would say she was about 24 or so and she was wearing make-up, but it looked so natural you would hardly notice it.
I suppose if I actually wore make-up, I would want it to look like hers did...

Her light makeup was probably the reason he didn't notice she was pretty. For a woman to be noticed she will normally need to wear at least a moderate amount of makeup, I know there are exceptions.
As far as those pictures I am more attracted to the ladies wearing the heavier makeup.
