I heard that if we use water resistance or moisture repeller for coating brand new LV handbag, it would be easier to clean any dirty later by using a towel to clean with water. Any idea about it ? Where I can buy these stuff ?
I've never treated my LV. Its leather, its been in the rain, snow, hot Texas heat and I've never had any trouble with it. It still looks brand new and it's almost a year old and I've used it everyday since I got it.

LV is not really leather. I got the Totally Monogram PM which is Canvas. It's not easy to get dirty, but I need to take care of the two shoulder straps which are real leather. LV bag is change color overtime when it gets old. Especially, these leather straps ara hard to keep clean. I dont use it when it's raining . If it gets wet, would show the jeopardy spots not evenly dard and light, making bad looking.
I have the Speedy. I got the damier ebene rather than the damier azure because I didnt like the look or the fact that it will change color. I travel with mine a lot, so the darker color doesn't show a thing.
The handles are supposed to darken as the bag is used. It is desirable and makes it your bag your own. My SA @LV in PB told me that women in Paris leave their bags in the sun to accelerate the oxidation process.
The monogram body doesn't need anything either.
Just use it and enjoy it.
