From an aesthetic standpoint, I prefer men who at least "trim" the armpit hair. For hygenic reason, it would probably be best if most men took up shaving completely.

As far as legs go: I only date men with shaved legs. (I am a cyclist so I am spoiled).

If some women don't want to shave their underarms that's their business, that said, I don't really find the unshaven look attractive. I do shave my underarms, I'm so use to it at this point that it's uncomfortable if I don't shave every couple of days.

To me, underarm hair is masculine. I don't like women with it and I find it very sexy on my hubby. He's not a real hairy guy though, just right.

I know many men who would vehemently disagree with you about that!

My 20 something daughter has 'gone European' - she no longer shaves legs or pits. I think it's gross, but she's pretty radical in many ways.
Besides, she didn't ask me for my opinion.

I wish my man would shave his pits. I wish he'd shave his package too.

To each her own. Personally, I don't like the feeling of hair under my arms. But, I don't think "EWWW" when I see a girl with hair there. It's just hair, it's not gross, it doesn't make you stink more, it's just that we've been trained by our culture to think it shouldn't be hairy. If it's something girls are doing for men, they must not realize that plenty of men really are not bothered by girls that don't shave.
