Wanted to post this, in case it might be helpful to anyone else.
Purchased a Tignanello large hobo style bag, used, off of ebay over a month ago. The crappy seller failed to disclosed that it had a HUGE ink stain on the inside silk lining. It was so bad, when you touched it the ink smeared on your fingers on contact.
After negging the seller for that and fighting for two weeks, ebay refunded my money, the seller continued to be hateful about the situation.
Anyway, last night for some reason, I was thinking, why not try something to see if I could at least make it better, so I did.
Turned the silk lining inside out of the bag, soaked the lining CAREFULLY as to avoid contact with any leather, in a solution of warm water and Gain detergent, THE INK AND I MEAN ALL OF IT CAME RIGHT OUT and fairly quickly too, let the lining dry in a towel carefully enveloped around just the lining and then draped the bag with the silk lining hanging down over a fan for a couple of hours, each side and now I have a REALLY NICE FREE BAG!
Hope this helps someone, I didn't know you could so easily get ink out of bag linings!
Its very easy. Even easier if you take it to a dry cleaners. They have stuff that will take out any ink in seconds. If pens explode in your purse they can stay wet/oily/sticky for awhile.
