Anything with patchouli in it. Don't like eucalyptus either.

I don't like anything that's supposed to be reminiscent of vanilla or any type of baked good. Cloyingly sweet smells that don't come from something designated for consumption are to be avoided at all costs.

It seems like there has been a big surge of scents that smell like candy.

Pretty pukey, if you ask me...both in personal fragrance, and in the home scents arena. No, I DON'T want a jar candle that smells like sugar cookies cinnamon rolls or a "birthday cupcake." And, for the record, who's to say that "birthday cake" is one particular universal flavor or scent? On my birthday, white cake with white frosting and multicolored sprinkles is NOT what I'd be picking.

I distinctly remember a girl in college who wore L'air Du Temps. It smelled like underarm body odor on her but I didn't have the heart to tell the sweet thing.

Ha ha, if my home is to smell like an apple pie or baked cookies, it's going to be from an actual pie or cookies cooking and not some burning scented wax.

I love most of the Philosophy perfumes, like Falling in Love and Baby Grace, but the Amazing Grace smells awful to me-very "old lady" ish.

Patchouli has always smelt like a dirty pet shop to me.

I live in a college town and it seems that a considerable portion of the 18-25 year old male population here is hooked on wearing Acqua di Gio. For the longest time I never thought that the seemingly ubiquitous fragrance stunk that bad, but being punched in the nose by it every day is beginning to change my mind.

I don't know how that particular one smells, but I wish the guys would give Axe a rest. I've even known some middle-aged men who wear Axe! It smells like actual fecal matter to me.
