American gay paranoia is reaching new hights. A man can't wear "shorts" above mid-calf or wear anything other than a T-shirt and a backwards baseball hat or basically look like something other than an overgrown 12 year old or he is gay. Does that mean before 80s all American men were gay? Are all the Congressmen gay because they wear suits?

I recently got asked if I was gay because of how I dressed. I was a whole foods and this girl commented on my shoes and how well dressed I was, and she proceeded to say, "You must be gay, right?.' Apparently wearking a pink dress shirt, navy wool trousers, khaki sportscoat, and loafers means one is gay...wtf?

You should have retorted with one of the convenient 5-letter or 4-letter words to have put her in her place. I know I would have.

I usually don't unless I see something that is out of place for the "culture" (right word?) where I live. For example, there are men who dress well, with the loafers and khakis and pink but not with scarves. So if I see a guy with a scarf I may think something of it (not a winter scarf btw.) he could look good w/ the scarf but It just isn't something I would imagine a guy would put much emphasis on.
