I'm a black male and I have I say okay skin, but when I was younger whenever I would get acne I would pick at them and they would turn into scars and dark spots. The spots are on my cheek and I want them gone as soon as possible..I've heard everything from milk to honey..what do you recommend?

See a dermatologist. They have a lot of different things in their arsenal that can even out skin tone that isn't available OTC, such as specialized Vitamin C-based serums (these lose their potency within minutes of being unsealed, so they need to be applied correctly immediately upon opening). Depending on your particular skin reactions, microdermabrasion may be an option, as well as glycolic or lactic acid peels. However, until your skin has been evaluated by a doc, I wouldn't try the OTC peels -- some types may make things worse instead of better.

natural products are good on the skin? even if you're a male, why don't you try homemade facial masks which are made of natural products. then use non-hydroquinone skin lightening creams. i can recommend neucell for you but still try the natural treatment instead of jumping into strong products/chemicals that would really peel off your skin.
