Hmm. Generally sport colognes are the best. They're intended for someone who just washed off after a gym session and shouldn't be wearing a heavy fragrance on top of soap and a body still in "active" mode. Thus, I recommend Polo Blue. I got a scent advertisement in the mail, and thought, "I MUST have this." Get a whiff of it at the store, and you'll know what I mean.

Hands down, Creed Imperial. It's fresh and clean, a lot of compliments on this one. I have the one in this gold bottle but I think the new bottle is glass. It's a bit pricey at the dept. stores and so far, if I've only seen it at Nieman Marcus. You can get it online for close to about half the price.

If you want to spend less, try Lolita Lem***** au masculin. This is my everyday colongne and again lots of compliments on this all the time. I drove my dad to the doctor once and had a small bottle in my gym bag, before we left, he sprayed a little on. Right before we left the office after the appointment, all the young pretty receptionist were all over his scent, asking what it was and saying how clean and fresh he smelled. LOL, he's at almost retirement age and he's still working it. Well, you get the point.

You can get it online for around $30. This keeps me feeling fresh and smelling fresh. If you can find a tester try it first to see if you and your husband like it. Every girl, I've dated love it, it could be the aphrodisiac smell of the hints of licorice , but I know some women aren't into licorice scents so try it first. It's a subtle scent hint of licorice, believe me I hate the smell of licorice to the point of throwing up but this cologne layers it's scent tastefully. I believe most dept stores don't care it anymore.

Hope this helps.
EDIT: For some reason, this site won't let me type out the full name.
Well, it's on the box.

I would recommend Davidoff "Cool Water." That accentuates your "fresh out of the shower" scent during your morning preparations.
