I don't know how many mineral liquid foundations there are....but I'm in love with mineral powder. Can anyone recommend a mineral foundation (liquid)? Wouldn't they all be pretty equally effective? thanks.

I use Bare Minerals, which looks like a powder but is actually a little creamy, which is why it covers so subtly. I think most mineral makeup is that way. I haven't seen any liquid mineral makeup. I don't like the way liquid makeup feels or looks on me anymore.

Good luck in your search!

There are liquid mineral foundations around. I know Armaleigh (sp?) carries one, Jane Iradele and I think Alima do too. I've tried at least six different types of mineral powders (and found out I'm allergic to all of them) and there are different formulations. Some have Mica or talc, some don't for example.

Anyway here is a great site to research makeup and get user reviews and they list many brands of mineral makeup:

Makeupalley - Street Smart Beauty - Homepage

Hope this helps!

I have slighly oily skin and just cannot use standard liquid foundation. I've tried the stick, pressed as well. Years ago, I discovered Bare Minerals and have used if for for years. I love it. It's light and so easy to apply. NOT all mineral make up/foundation is the same. BE does not have talc.

Right now I'm using Maybelling Mineral Power. I've been happy with it as well. It is a very light liquid. As I've gotten older, my skin seems to be not quite so oily.
