Is that thing street legal? I'll buy one for myself since I never hit more than 35mph during my commute anyways.

When I was a kid, I went to FAO Schwarz in New York. They had a 1/4 scale Ferrari 308 GTS. It had a metal chassis, 11 horsepower engine, 2 spd transmission and supposedly can hit about 45 mph. At the time (1983/84) it was selling brand new for $5000. I wanted one so bad, however, that was only slightly below the average price of a real full size car then, LOL.

A buddy of mine who is into Ferrari's was looking to buy one for his kid but hasn't been able to find one. Apparently they go for about $20-$25k now. Here's what it looks like...
