Used to do parallel, my max was 2x405 (Box squat and non-box squat). Parallel is hips equal to the horizontal axis of the knees. I haven't "maxed" A2G squats yet, but I've been doing pyramids, max up to 225 A2G reps of 4-6. I weight in around 139.

Anyone else do squats all the way down? Thoughts?

455 Back Squat Max - YouTube = Almost parallel, more like a 'half squat'. Impressive weight, but...

Well, too bad.

I did it when I was deployed - it was part of the "1000lb" club at the special forces gym. I barely managed, 250 Bench, 350 Dead lift (No belt, straps), and 405 Squat (used belt).

That's my story, if you don't believe me - well, it's really something for me anyways. . . and all my troops that think I'm the strongest NCO in the world. HA.

Yeah, I do beyond parallel squats. The vid of that kid doing 772 - he got a little "in the bucket" at the bottom of his squat, but that's a crap ton of weight! I prefer full range of motion on all my lifts - anything else seems a little bit dishonest. You'll never catch me doing box squats, rack pulls, plank bench, etc.

Not sure what you're asking about the squat cleans?

I don't think I had a question - just felt like posting that video.

I did rack pulls for a while, just to improve my dead lifts, started going to a new gym and the rack wasn't low eonugh and there are no boxes.

Oh, I do believe that kid was 20 doing that.

My knees are typically not very fond of goen A2G, so I don't, and I think that's usually the reason not to.
