Talk about in excellent shape.

Belgian Stefaan Engels recent amazing effort of 365 marathons in 365 Days will make you look like a slacker.

The 49-year-old started his first marathon in Barcelona a year back, and ended his World Record effort at the same marathon where he started.

I couldn't imagine running 10 or 15 marathons in a year.

I'd like to see the list of races and where they were. That would be interesting.

That has to have been seriously detrimental to his health. Doesn't he need recovery time? At some point you're just using up your allotted heartbeats.

There's something seriously fishy about this article. There aren't marathons scheduled every day of the year, world-wide. And even if there was, there is no way he could fly from San Jose to Moscow and run another one the next day.

He may have run 26.2 miles every single day of the year, but not in an organized race. That would simply be impossible due to scarcity of races, travel and expense.

The most marathons I have run in one year was 4 and I will never do it again. You need about 6 weeks to ease off running after a marathon and recovery is essential.

But anyone who runs like this guy is to be commended. An incredible achievement!
