I think both documentaries are pretty 'balanced', if nothing else you Russian guys on here might find it interesting to see the experiences these guys had and their opinions of your country.

Look, Easthome...
I might find their experience interesting, but then, again, I might not.

But that's not the point.
The point is, that in the age of internet, you still keep on repeating that whatever is taking place in Russia ( as in most Russians supporting the idea of Putin being their president,) comes as the direct result of propaganda and propaganda only.
And ( according to you,) sure enough, their decisions come only because of "lack of adequate information") and nothing else.

You don't even guess that it might be YOU ( or any other Westerner) that lack the full and adequate information, to understand why Russians make the decisions they make, even after having the access to the internet and alternative sources of information.
So as I've said many times before, that unless Western propaganda machine starts talking out in the open about the nineties, what took place back THEN, and the role that *collective West* played in events, the aforementioned machine will keep on spreading the rest of the lies, pointing at Russians as people who "make their decisions based exclusively on false propaganda."

And the more Putin will be able to wreck the Western plans, uniting with China, Iran, and whatever other unsavory forces are out there.
Particularly now, when he is bringing Rusian nationalists in the State Duma ( the parliament that is.)

Not my favorite people I'm telling you, but that's what the American meddling in Ukraine has brought, not to mention yet another Russian nationalist, that organized the Nazi in Ukraine to begin with)))
And to reinforce what I am talking about here, I'll just bring the latest example;

Few days ago BBC (I am talking about British news agency, which I USED to regard as less biased) was writing about Poroshenko's woes, that the criminal cases opened against him are based on purely "political ground."
Not only that, but he, the "proven ally" of the Western interests in the region, is pointing at the fact, that the new president is not fit for the office, since "the fifth column of the Russian federation are now playing a very important role in Ukraine."
Yesterday though, the telephone conversation has been released, where the aforementioned Poroshenko has a friendly chat with the "Russian Federation" - namely Putin - as friendly as it gets, asking even for economic help from Russia.
And while this political scandal is shaking both Ukraine and Russia, as for the BBC?
Not a pipsqueak on the news.
Why?
Because it simply doesn't fit the usual Western narrative on Ukraine, and doesn't support the NATO plans.

But it will be Russians again, who will be pointed at, as the most "unenlightened people, who base their decisions exclusively on the basis of Putin's propaganda."

Bad news for Gazprom. It has lost market share in Europe in 2020. Overall export revenue is down an eye-watering 53% in the 1st 5 months of 2020. Gas volumes are down 23%, so the rest is price reductions. May was the worst month. Gazprom gas fetches less than $100 tcm now. Source: Russian Federal Custom Service.

Next year Poland is cancelling its contract to buy Russian gas so further declines are predicted. Isn't it great that Putin keeps up his one way war of revenge against the west? As an investor in American gas production, I would like to thank Putin for antagonizing Russian customers.

Market share loss means Russian share of the European market fell. Totals fell but so did their share. Norway increased market share, which makes sense because Norway is a far better partner of the EU than Putin's Russia.

Time for more European countries to open to fracking to cut Russian share down further. Russia is basically a "gas station" that makes a lot of mischief when it has money.

You're talking about the Baltic Pipe. https://www.baltic-pipe.eu/ It's not going to change anything for Russia. If Polish citizens are cool with paying for "freedom gas" as opposed to Russian gas then fine. Let's not fool ourselves by saying they'll have a choice. Every cubic inch of gas the Norway produces is bought long before it comes out of the ground already. The only way this is going to be viable is for a much higher price to be paid and it can't compete with Russian gas. The gas fields in the north sea are getting close to running out too. Either 100s of billions more needs to be invested to get new fields going or you buy Russian gas.

Fracking is an unmitigated disaster. Far more trouble than it's worth unless you're desperate.
