Lou Costello's daughter was on The Tonight Show once, she had his voice and said they'd gone to England where baseball wasn't popular and they rewrote the bit to be about soccer. There's apparently no recording of it, what a shame, I'd LOVE to see it.
After seeing the thread title, but before clicking on the thread, it was the particular comedy bit that came to my mind.
Having been to all three of the Starbucks a number of times (a third one opened on the same block...albeit in a bookstore.....after Black wrote this bit), and to at least one sit down Starbucks in 48 different states, I've always liked this bit:
Ralphie May did a lot of 'dirty', but he was one of the few I found funny even when he was clean. I'm not sure there's been anyone in my lifetime that I thought was genuinely funnier on a range of topics.
Robin Williams skit about "Golf" - he performs it with a Scottish accent - very funny!!
Oh that's a good one! I haven't seen it in a while but I remember it being hilarious and a fairly long bit. I enjoy golf and found the ridiculousness of it hilarious.
