Obama and Hillary Clinton had a secret meeting at Nancy Pelosi's house just before Clinton agreed to drop out of the primaries. It's possible that they arranged a co-presidency there. Notice how all of Obama's appointments are Clinton retreads (except for one Bush retread--Gates)? Obama will handle the domestic side of the co-presidency, while the Clintons will decide foreign policy, with Obama as spokesmouth.

You mean the meeting after it became clear that Obama had the nomination wrapped up. And he would agree to this sharing of power because???????

Yes. It's possible. And it's possible that monkeys might fly out of my hindquarters.

What, praytell, would Obama gain through this silliness? And what would the Clintons have to offer?

I think you need a little fresh air.

How do you know the Clintons didn't have dirt on Obama? They know everything.

If they had dirt, wouldn't they have spilled it during the nomination process? After all, Hillary was campaigning for President, not for Secretary of State. So again, why would either of these people sign off on a deal to share power?

Oh, take a walk. If they had it, they'd've used it. Wouldn't you have?

If they had dirt on Obama, I'm sure they would have used it. I'm sure Obama for a variety of reasons needed to throw the Clinton's a bone, but I very much doubt Obama will take second chair to anyone. If anything, what he has demonstrated so far is an amazing ability to reach out very broadly, even to the point of forming "Obama Republicans" with his moves towards the middle.

Like the guy or not, he is appears to me to be a brilliant strategist so far. We shall see how well he governs but as I have said in the days following the election, he will eventually tick off more liberals than Republicans. Just watch.

That's pretty funny. I heard he took his kids to Disney World. Maybe we'll see Mickey Mouse on the Supreme Court yet!

I thought they both attended a Bilderberg meeting that was going on during that moment?
