The media keeps talking about how things feel apart in the McCain campaign and how the McCain staffers had disagreements with Sarah. OK fine. Sarah has said she won't comment until someone comes forward. Fine.

Quit talking about it....we don't even know if it is true! I don't doubt that it is, but what is this media coming to??

They are also reporting that the media helped BO get elected....huh no....you don't say!

What is going to become of our media outlets? They are so liberal biased.

I hadn't been keeping up with the recent claims on this considering that the election is over and I am tired of looking up the details to find only loose speculation.

That said, are you saying that no aides have stepped forward to validate this claim? Is it still following the line of "some aide or aides" claimed this yet the reporting agency says they will not release those names?

Yes and that what I don't get. You don't have a source, you have reported it over and over, so please...they should drop it. Right?

I am getting so sick of hearing about this media bias bs. There are biased left wing, and very biased right wing media. Then the mainstream ABC, CBS, and CNN (which is not biased dispite what you Neo-cons believe).

Just because Palin couldn't answer simple questions does not mean the media was against her. It was her ability to answer those questions that were against her. Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric are not to blame. They did a good and honest job of journalism. Sarah Palin is too blame. Those were not "Gotcha questions" like Palin decribed.

The media was right winged biased 4 years ago, now its left wing biased. When will this end?

Sarah Who?
Seriously, who cares. She's yesterday's news and Alaska's problem.

That's the problem though. One agency (no matter how small) can "claim" it is true and then all of the other news agencies then report on the "allegations" of such without having to worry about verifying it simply because they are merely commenting on the fact that someone else said so.

A responsible agency might report on it and make it clear these are unfounded and unverified allegations, but often many do not and conveniently leave off that information (oops). This still doesn't change the fact that most people hear the charges and then disregard the rest as you can tell specifically by the numerous topics made by posters here during the election on both sides of the fence.

In the end, it has shown us the bad side of a free press who acts without responsibility or ethical grounds. I am not saying they should be regulated, but one of the key concepts the founders always spoke of as required for freedom to exist is that of a virtuous people. Without that, freedom can not truly exist because it is no longer governed by its people through those principals.
