Its pretty much over, Obama is the next president, the democrats have pretty much a filibuster proof senate, and soon to be house... I think it will be fun to watch the next 4 years... who are the Dems going to blame for the next 4 years of overspending and increases taxes instead of the promised tax cuts and "smart" spending? I suspect everyone will be even more miserable next year and we can actually blame the Dems this time around... can't wait.. finally we can expose the Dems for what they truly are... socialists..
The Dems don't have to blame...we're ready to take responsibility, like mature adults.
I'm just so sickened by my own state. The ONLY reason why McCain won here is because of the Bible-Belt vote. It sickens me that people REFUSE to seperate religion and politics.
For a state that loves Big Blue, we sure do see alot of red.
Same story in my Texas. I stated on another thread that I was going to call the other six Obama supporters in my city (metro area population 160,000) and have a rally in my living room. It is nearly that bad here. But the Republicans have both senate seats, all local and state seats, and the House seat for our district.
Where do you live if you don't mind me asking??
