If Obama's elected, stock market will rise 1000 pts, if McCain's elected, it drops 2000 pts, because it's more Bushnomics. Obama brings hope of a rejuvinated America, McCain brings the dismay of another four Bush-like years.
Can you look into your crystal ball and give me the winning lottery numbers.
I was out burning leaves all day and my neighbor stopped by. This man owns 5 houses in several states and lives off of playing the stock market. Now I know that that doesn't make him an expert, but he is doing very well and I think he knows of what he speaks.
Neighbor said that if Obama wins stocks will go up...for about a year and a half to 2 years. Then they will start to tank. He's buying heavily right now and hoping for big returns by the end of next year when he will sell, before Obama's taxes hit him hard.
Selling? But nobody's buying right now, unless you pay cash. The banks still have no money to lend. He's right to try and sell soon, though. If O is elected, he'll raise the capital gains tax, that will hurt everyone, but especially those who live off of speculation and investments.
Couldn't help it. I am no economist by a LONG shot but I have figured out one thing about stock markets, and that is that they are harder to predict than the weather a year from now. While the choice of one man for President over another very well may have and will likely have an effect on the markets, predicting what that effect is sounds like an exercise in futility.
