Poll: Obama's chances for a 2nd term should he win?

Do you think he would be elected for a 2nd term if he were to win? Given that the senate, house, and congress will be democratic...usually when that happens it is hard for a democrat to win a 2nd term (because democrats will get ALL the blame for everything since they control it all).

I just dont see him winning a second term...the enthusiasm in the minority community wont be as strong a second time around, so they might not vote, Clinton voters were willing to support him once, but will they support him again? Mitt Romney and some others would be strong challengers.

So what do you think? Does he have a chance for a 2nd term?

We're going to have to wait and see how he does as President in his first term before we can predict whether or not he'll win a second term. He could either turn this country around for the better or make it more worst than before--leaving the American people to decide then whether he deserves a second chance at the presidency. But as of right now no one can predict if he has a chance for a second term, he hasn't even won his first term yet lol.

Getting a little ahead of ourselves eh?
Give it a year or 2 (considering he does win next week).

Well, before the 1st term, let's see what Nov 4 brings our country...and your asking about 2nd term....NBC is Obama network, that's also serious BS...like Jeff Zucker...

If he runs the country the same way Jimmy Carter did or even worst, than Barack Hussein Obama's chances of winning a second term is slim to none.

It depends. I could see him being a great president, or an awful one. Depends how he does things. The biggest domestic test is how he will work with his own party. He's the leader of the Democrats, and if he acts like a puppet for Pelosi and Reid (which I fear) then it'll be bad and he'll deserve to lose.

But the last Democrat did a decent enough job, so we'll have to wait and see.

Again I ask Democrats...please please get rid of Pelosi and Reid. Your party, and the country will be so much better off if they become backbenchers again. Seriously.

I agree that it is a little early to be thinking about a second term. I think most reasonable people will give him a chance. If he does great things, he will ace a second election. If not, we will elect someone else.

He certainly could surprise a lot of people and become a wonderful and well-liked president.
