ummm, how should I put this delicately? all of the early voters seem to be of one race. you know, the kind of people that community organizers herd onto a bus and bring to the polls so they can vote for the candidate they've been told to vote for. But as long as they are not disenfranchised, that's all that matters, isn't it?

I'm sorry. I didn't realize I was talking to someone who is probably too young to vote in the first place. OK, you win. Have a good night.

Beneath the "Blacks turn out in droves" headline is.....

So are people 55 and older. And Democrats.

Where I live there have been long lines, and there are very few Black people. In fact, I just checked city-data and got this.

Races in Naples:

White Non-Hispanic (90.8%)
Black (4.6%)
Hispanic (2.2%)
Two or more races (2.1%)
Races in Bonita Springs:

White Non-Hispanic (81.3%)
Hispanic (17.1%)
Other race (7.9%)
Two or more races (1.5%)
American Indian (0.6%)
Very ignorant remark. I voted on day one October 20. There were no Black people in line. I drove my own car too.

Yup, Florida has a lot of racial groups, especially a lot of conservative Cuban-Americans who "hate the commies." But the dominant block of voters in Florida are those over the age of 55.

That's why Sarah Silverman wants people to schlep on down to Florida and talk to Grandma!

Even my north Florida Bible Belt conservative county went blue!
It was close, but Obama carried the day. I am amazed and proud.
