This is a man who understands Economics. How did FOX let him say this?

Of course he did;he is a right wing conservative in the rep[ublican party. McCain isn't just as Reagan wasn't.Barry Goldwater was the last right winger to run for president.

Many conservatives have issues with McCain, that doesn't mean we're going to vote for Obama. It's a big leap from capitalism to the big "S".

I suppose McCain buying up all the bad mortgages and letting them stay in the houses isn't the Big S? Yes it is. McCain spreading the wealth around to wall street is also the Big S but just for the Rich.

I suppose the right wingers will now say that Cavuto knows nothing about Economics or he has read McCain ALL wrong. Cavuto says it as it is. He doesn't pander to the right or left. He is very rarely wrong in his views on the Economy.

Pretty BRUTAL to be sure.

I have to say, that after Shep Smith, Cavuto is my favorite FOX News personality. I don't always agree with him to be sure (much of the time I don't actually) but I like him because - unlike folks like Hannity and O'Reilly - he comes across as an essentially decent person who understands that people can honestly disagree with him without being somehow evil incarnate. I REALLY like him, and always have. He is a smart guy - and one not driven by emotional pettiness but rather by his basic convictions tempered by the knowledge that he is NOT all-knowing and can be wrong from time to time.
