it's all over for you and your ilk in a few more days
your worst nightmare is going to come true.....a black president
the real question is when those "socialist" checks come to you, what are you going to do? throw them out or be a hypocrite like the rest of your kind and cash them?

See, I have faith that even a well trained Labrador Retriever would be able to make a major turn around as compared to what our current administration has done. I just feel like both Obama and McCain are two such under-qualified candidates but people are so let down by the current administration that even these two look good in comparison. THAT scares me, and is more important than the little hope and faith that one can have in the grandiose plans that Obama has that just sound nice.

All of a sudden, someone rises to the top and you want to be involved in his life? Senator Obama's father was MIA, not an active figure in his life. I don't believe he relates to that side of his family at all. His father did nothing for him, he doesn't connect, so why should he be supporting all of this family who has never been there for him???

It was his maternal grandmother and grandfather who has raised him! I wouldn't support family who has never supported me either. It's funny the way family wants to be involved, be on television, when they see you gaining strength and power. It bothers me a great deal! Why not reach out as much as possible during the years that matter?

And who actually takes an infomercial seriously and buys the product advertised?
He had 30 minutes, he summarized everything that he's been stumping on for 2 years now. If you haven't heard the breakdown in details over this long period of time, then you aren't even listening

One clip showed and commented on a family trying to cut back on spending. They were eating out and the bill came to ONLY $24 and something. Okay, now how is that for overspending if you're broke? It doesn't make sense. They could have fed their family of four at home for about $5.00 with a big pot of spaghetti.

Also, eating too much often results in more illness and disease, hence more medical costs. There was just not a lot of common sense in that 30 minutes. If people quit spending, they wouldn't have so many financial problems. They want, want, want, buy, buy, buy and then complain about not having any money.

I wonder how many video games and movies were in those homes, definitely wants and not necessities. Of course, it didn't indicate they had such a thing but I'd be willing to bet they did. Children can play outside for pennies unless their parents insist on the biggies like pools, big toys, et al. Adults can find inexpensive entertainment as well.

Sorry, I have no pity for those who live beyond their means. Cut off the cell phones, do away with Direct TV, cut back on eating, shop frugally, drive less, go on picnics, eat at home, and on and on. The list is endless on ways to save. Lack of common sense and the "desire of want" is ruining people's finances more than anything.

I loved the part about so and so up before dawn to go to work, like it some new rarity in this country. I believe most of us are up before the sun is to go to work.

The 30 minutes was a bunch of nothing.
Uhh, eating spaghetti all the time WILL make you fat.

And if people quit spending altogether, like Japan did after their last recession, we're all done. What do you think drives the economy?

Hey, but at least you went into the 30 minute spot with an open mind and a receiving heart.

Dang! Can we actually write in the Labrador Retriever?
These two doofuses (doofi?) are giving me the heebie-jeebies.

McCain's crew is just an empty bag, and Obama will whisper anything to get into our britches...

I want confidence in a leader's abilities, not faith.

Riiight.... well I'm so glad you had 30 minutes of that uplifting Obama feeling for you to enjoy and weep tears of joy over. I sure hope you recorded it also, so you can replay it to your heart's content.

What's wrong with you Obama people? An ad is just that, pure advertisement. It's subjective with a decided spin to it. It's not fact, it's all snippets put together to make Obama look as good as possible. Who knows how many hours of film footage they had to sort through until they got those 30 ideal minutes? Then they added music to it and Obama added a voiceover... It's all Madison Avenue and Hollywood in action. Obama's ad isn't real, just like the tv show The West Wing wasn't real...

It's only an ad people, and a scary expenditure of campaign money at that. I hate to see how much future presidential campaigns are going to cost. And Obama is spending an obscene amount of money to only be 5% of McCain in the polls this week. And for those Obama supporters that are struggling with their private finances, how can you condone such expenditures? It really shows that Obama can't be trusted with our government's budget.
