What I said was that calling Obama a <insert racial slur>, or yelling "kill him!", or any of the other charming remarks made are wrong. That's an ethical statement, not a legal one. Nowhere did I suggest legal prosecution-- merely chastisement.
Just like if I used this post to call you names or wish you a slow, painful and maggot-ridden decline into old age it would be wrong, despite my legal right to do so.
But of course, you knew that.

Might want to recheck your Behavior Theory reference. Extinction is a notoriously difficult thing to pull off-- and when bad behavior is ignored only intermittently (as has been done by the McCain/Palin campaign), it is in fact reinforced, not extinguished.
