I'm so excited that we're so close to realizing this dream. Barack Obama is, as Colin Powell said, a transformational figure. If we can elect this man our president, we will be on the way to repairing our tarnished image in the world. We will take the country back from the warmongers and put it back in the hands of someone who thinks before he speaks.
After 8 years of Bush and all the harm and embarrassment he has brought to the US, it is so exciting to be on the brink of change.
I am also so thrilled about this moment in history. If we choose Barack Obama as our president, we will be going a long way toward the dream of equality between races. The impact of his presidency will be tremendous in the long run.
I'm 30 years old and this is the first time I've been really excited about a presidential candidate. Cross your fingers, knock on wood, and for god's sake go out and vote on Nov 4!

Barack Obama 2008!

Just be sure to vote, and be sure all your commie-sympathizer friends and acquaintances get to the voting place, too.

Be sure you're properly registered and know what ID to bring and exactly where to vote - check your state's Secretary of State's website.

I'm still grounded in reality, but cautiously optimistic.
I already voted, and so did both my kids--just have to make sure the spouse gets out there on Nov 4th.

Excited, yes, the Champaign will be on ice, and (as I have to work on the 5th) I am hoping that the results come in early. Delusianne is right, do not become complacent and think that you don't need to vote. . . don't even do that if you live in one of the western states, and you are sure, before you polls close that an Obama win is certain. This one NEEDS TO BE a landslide, the people need to speakout, loud and clear, for an intelligent choice, this time! [Mod edited: no signatures in posts]

I voted early and wish I could vote again. (Joking....) It is going to be a bright and beautiful day when we are free of the misery of the last 8 years.

Yes indeed, elated might be a better word than excited but I repped you anyway!
