Knowing how many criminal conictions that were obtained against members of that administration, an administration that specialized in lies and fabricated evidence, I'd say any indictment of Ayers would require reinvestigation by an unbiased team.

I'd place little faith in FBI reports compiled during the Nixon era when far too many attempts were being made to use the FBI and other agencies as personal assets.

Facts say his alleged victory was as much due to his enemy collapsing under the weight of its own stupidity as much as from anything else. Facts also say he commited the treasonous act of selling weapons to an enemy, the act his worshipers attempt to sweep under the rug while vilifying other, far less heinous acts. Facts also say there were people in US and state governments that were domestic terrorists (if advocating gunning down students isn't terrorism, what is?) and far greater threats to the US than Ayers ever was.
