Time to Get Serious
Folks, are we really going to do this? You know what I mean, i.e., elect Obama President of the USA. The most radical, leftist, totally unqualified and unknown candidate in modern times. Is this to whom we are going to entrust our country? Our enemies can't believe their good fortune every time they see one of those voter "polls" put out by the MSM. Our friends abroad are worried and our enemies are delighted at the prospect that America has lost its nerve, its will, and its mind.

Who is Obama? Nobody really knows. As far as I can tell, he's a bad 1950's, 1960s B-movie: a cross between the "Manchurian Candidate" and "Invasion of the Body Snatchers." He appears out of nowhere with a political machine replete with money and fanatical followers and a flowery empty rhetoric about "change," and we all swoon and make him our leader. This can't be happening to America.

What do we know about him? Not much. We haven't even been able to see his birth certificate or his school records. We, however, know he lived in Hawaii until he suddenly went to Columbia and Harvard. How did he get to Columbia and Harvard? Who paid? He was made Harvard Law Review editor, a highly prestigious position, and produced . . . nothing. Then, he suddenly goes off to Chicago and becomes a "Community Organizer" (CO). What exactly is that? Nobody can say. It, however, appears to be a modern version of the old Democratic ward boss. You make sure Mrs. Brown gets her meds delivered from the local pharmacy; you find out why the garbage is not being picked up in front of Mr. Smith's house; you funnel some bucks to "friendly" organizations; and then, as needed, you get all the folks into a couple of vans and drive them down to the city council to bring the hammer down on some reluctant politician. As far as I can tell, it's basically just old Chicago politics, financed by Federal grant moneys provided by "friendly" politicians (Democrats). After Obama pays his dues as a CO, the local machine helps him launch a political career. He lashes up with local radicals and thugs such as Ayers and Rezko and he is off and running. Weird.

Even once in office, both at the State and then at the Federal level, Obama has almost no record; nobody knows him until he runs for President and -- presto!-- he's suddenly got a well-oiled and well-funded machine that defeats the Clintons!

This is a weird, weird story. This is not a good story for America.

I take more comfort in what I don't know about Obama, than in what I do know about McCain.

Since you only seem to post other people's emails, letters and videos......do you have any original thoughts of your own? I mean ones that aren't a rehash or regurgitation of some wacko righty.

Bentlebee.

You dont look up the facts about Obama, but believe and pass along lies. You dont look up information to see what you dont know about him, but stay content with "We dont know who this guy is!"

Naturally, you dont want to vote for the agglomeration of lies and questions that to you mean "Barack Obama". Who would?

Do you see what's necessary here?

And George Bush Jr was qualified to run the country? A coke snortin', beer chuggin, mediocre student from a family that could pull strings?

Not to mention the fact that he's not the brightest bulb in the room, so-to-speak.

If Bush can pull it off, anyone can. I wouldn't worry about Obama's abilities. He's light years ahead.

Yes. We're really going to do this. We've been Serious. I wish you could Vote in our Elections, perhaps this would lend more weight to how serious we take the Election Process and our Duty to cast an Informed Vote.

Since I know you won't read one of his books, which are very open about his past and upbring, check this out:

Barack Obama - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pretty much all the stuff you say is "unkown" is described in that brief Wikipedia article.
