Hmmmm released on a Friday afternoon so it goes under the radar but what they the hey? Isn't Alaska governed by the same tax codes?
Palin's Tax Return Mystery: Where Are The Per Diems?
The information contained a few interesting revelations in what was, otherwise, a fairly mundane filing. Palin, it appears, did not pay taxes on the more than $60,000 of travel reimbursements that she and her family members reportedly billed the state during her 18 months as governor. There is a fairly wonky debate over whether she should have been charged for these trips or whether it was accounted for in her salary.

Read on folks she should have paid taxes on and didn't.
Is that tax evasion or good old Alaska Independence Party politics.

I detest Palin as much as anyone, but not sure I'm clear on why anyone would be taxed on expense reimbursements, assuming they were legitimate?

From what I know they were not legitimate since her family shouldn't have been traveling with her on the taxpayers dime. She also did not claim her per diem as part of her earned income even though she was collecting it for being at home.

Shady dealings, but what can you expect from someone who thinks that it would be unpatriotic to pay taxes.

She would spend the night at her house eat dinner there and then bill the state per diem. Which means being paid for her expenses at home.

You know this for a fact?

If you know it for a fact and I prove this as an out of context claim, will you openly and to everyone here call yourself the dumbest person on the planet to never be listened to again because you are too stupid to speak? Do you support this to be true that much?

Just interested, I mean, you seem pretty sold on it already, but are you willing to bet on it?

I never had to pay taxes on my per diem. My employer never included them on my 1099. They are part of your expenses either paid out of pocket or expenses for being out of town and having to pay for your meals etc.

That makes more sense. Well, fraud and flaunting regulations seems to be her m.o.

I seem to recall you defending certain adult-child sexual relationships based on the maturity of the child being so much greater than that of any adult...so it's kind of hard for me to take you seriously.
