Obama has done an excellent job at explaining to folks in these battleground states what he wants to do for them. But I think the thing that will help him connect with those undecideds is to tell personal stories to show that he is just like them. Obama hasnt done alot of that. It was done at the democratic convention. Obama also need to bring his wife along with him more often at rally's. There is this positive and dynamic energy when the two of them are together.

No he not. But Obama came from struggling household growing up. He knows what it is like. He wasnt born with a silver spoon in his mouth like many presidential candidates.

he went to private school in hawaii didn't he? he went to exclusive stodgy universities. he may be normal as far as presidential candidates go, but he's not normal to the general population. I think nixon struggled more than the obamas did.

I am laughing my head off. If you want McCain to win, go ahead and bring Michelle to events. Michelle is the biggest turnoff (her sour attitude) and quickest way to push votes to the Repubs. People do not like Meeechelle.

it's more of a perception than a stereotype. the media can make people believe whatever they want about people. I don't care for michelle obama because she seems fake to me, as does her husband. they just seem like status quo politicians with an agenda of personal gain.

For years now, Obama has had two books out doing just that. He is the most scrutinized candidate in the history of this country. He has told his story countless times, shared his values far more than any other candidate. He has engaged in more presidential debates than any candidate in history (an incredible 22 during the primaries). The man wrote and delivered a speech about race that has been compared to that given by MLK. McCain could never write such a speech. If these people can't "connect" with him it's not because he has not done something. It's because these people have serious problems. More likely many are turned off by his race. Having Michelle present might not be a good thing around these people because although Michelle is an incredible, brilliant woman, a fine wife and mother, and will make a great First Lady, she is a black woman with dark skin. Many people are ignorant enough to be swayed by this.

These people have to get by themselves. I think Obama should continue doing what he's doing.

Obama doesn't need any tips. The presstitutes have him covered. The busses in New Orleans, Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit and L.A. are at the ready to get all those ACORN voters to their 4 different polling places each.
