The new polls also confirm Obama has a slight lead in Ohio.

One poll actually shows McCain leading in North Carolina by just 1 point. North Carolina hasnt gone blue since 1976 when Jimmy Carter swept the entire south.

NC has a good economy and the No. 2 Financial District in the Country. Hard to imagine Senator McCain inspiring much confidence in the Economy here when he's admitted he doesn't understand it.

Stranger things have happened, we've suffered our share of job loss, downsizing and restructuring and it would be crazy to see him at the helm when we're poised for greatness.

Poll: McCain, Obama tied in 5 battleground states - CNN.com
One poll does not a race make.

Maybe you missed this paragraph in the link in your post.

In North Carolina, which Bush won by 12 points in the last presidential election, the poll indicates that 47 percent of registered voters back Obama, 1 point behind McCain. But other polls in the state suggest McCain has a larger lead, and when averaged in a new CNN poll of polls out Wednesday, McCain has a 10-point lead.

Perhaps the middle class are starting to realize that really rich, old, white men can't really help them get jobs or put food on the table by giving tax relief to the really rich, old, white men. Pretty girl on arm not helping make things better anymore either.

This is the second recent poll which shows Obama leading in Ohio and tied in Florida.

Considering McCain's lead is rapidly dwindling this is bad news for John McCain.
