Obama, in his latest book has admitted that he was a failure as a community organizer. He claims that he was upset looking back because Chicago area had gotten worse, despite all of the efforts he put into it. (dont have the actual quote handy at the moment).

They want affordable health care, but yet none of them will start an affordable health care company, they want nice parks, but yet none of them will buy the land and donate it to become parks, they want environmental regulations put upon ANWR, but why dont they poll together and buy up the land, and then make sure as owners that no drilling takes place, they cry about the fees banks charge, but they dnt get together to start a bank, they want governmented mandating of just about every way one runs their life that it leads me to think that they want the government to mandate and control things because they are miserable failures at doing things without governmental help.

Think I'm wrong? What have liberals done, without governmental help that was successful..

one of the funniest things obama has talked about, and many liberals in general for that matter, is the cost of college. obama has talked about free college for anyone with a B average. things like this is the reason I have no respect for him, and consider him a complete idiot. poke your nose into federal grant money. an affordable college education is out there for you, but people don't want to put forth any effort anymore. the government has the money available, but still people would rather have the government just give it to them. lots of worthless people in today's society.

Free college for anyone with a B average? This would mean 1 of 2 things
1) schools do more of an effort to just "pass" people, regardless as their ability to do the work
2) the rich would be getting free school, the poor wont be because we all know how well funded the "rich" schools are, and how great the result has been at just throwing money at the issues..

What's dangerous is that to the mindless and young, it all sounds great. Free healthcare? - Great! Free education? - Awesome! No more enemies? - Fantastic! We can change the world's climate? - Kewl!

At times I think the greatest thing for the true conservative movement would be 4 years of Obama, Pelosi and Reid. It may set liberalism back 20 years; more than even one Carter admin was able to do.

Actually many are forced to look to government due to the failed policies of the Republican economic team. When jobs are shipped overseas, when illegal aliens are not reigned in, when job creation goes negative, when food and energy prices outstrip gains in promotion and raises, and when the school systems are failing the kids, even the hardiest pioneer might be looking for a land grant!

And how does one buy land owed by the federal government that isn't for sale? There are banks that have been started by liberals and they are called credit unions. Liberals have done more for neighborhood revitalization than any republicans have. Bill Clintons office is located in Harlem. Doctors without borders travel all over the world to provide health care to poor people.

You're absolutely right.

"Do liberals look to the government because they are failures"? (original question)

Answer: No.
