Palin linked the war in Iraq with the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, telling an Iraq-bound brigade of soldiers that included her son that they would "defend the innocent from the enemies who planned and carried out and rejoiced in the death of thousands of Americans."

I kind of feel sorry for her teachers... They had to deal with Bush and now her...

Well Bush pushed this for years and somehow no one can seem to face that Saudis were in on it. You never, ever hear them say Saudi nationals were major players in the attack on 9/11 and yet they were.

Al Qaeda wasn't a problem in Iraq until after the US invaded. Saddam Hussein kept a lid on things.

"Some terrorism analysts say Bush has used inflated rhetoric to depict al-Qaeda in Iraq as part of the same group of extremists that attacked the United States on Sept. 11 -- noting that the group did not exist until after the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in 2003. These analysts say Bush also has overlooked the contribution that U.S. actions have made to the growth of al-Qaeda in Iraq, which has been described as kind of a franchise of the main al-Qaeda network headed by bin Laden."
