If all the negative stuff that has been said and written about Palin were true, wouldn't you think that they would be cheering her nomination? I mean with all that negative baggage one would think that the Dems would be thanking McCain for providing such an easy target. So why all the anger? My theory: for two years the Left and the mainstream media have been telling us that this is a Democrat year. The election is in the bag. Now, 8 weeks out from election day they see the election slipping out of their grasp. And the thought of losing another election just makes them insane. All because of a little lady from Alaska. How unfair!

Excellent point. I must add though, had Obama picked Hillary as the VP, Democrats would not be in this situation. Not picking Hillary was Obama's fatal mistake.
I'm not smiling because for some odd reason, people got behind the ridiculous choice. You'd think these people who expect you to take them seriously wouldn't be so easily swayed by the skirt on stage.
In response to gsupstate's post. Hillary would have been a bad choice. She can do much more as a senator than she would have as VP and I'd rather have her helping up improve policy rather than be a dead weight. Besides, we'd have 17 million people trying to take a shot at Obama to see their candidate in the oval office. The presidential candidate should never be overshadowed by their VP. Palin certainly does that to McCain.
