according to CNN polls, Three quarters of all voters think McCain chose a female running mate specifically because he thought adding a woman to the Republican ticket would help him win in November. In other words the majority of people believe McCain picked Palin to attract Hillary supporters.

"If McCain was hoping to boost his share of the women's vote, it didn't work," polling director Keating Holland said.
"Women now appear slightly more likely to vote for Obama than they did a week ago, 53 percent now, compared to 50 percent.

As I said a few days ago, McCain picking Palin is going to backfire on him. If he was going to pick a woman, he should have at least picked one with alot more experiece so it wouldnt look obvious.

They've just met the woman. Let's give them time to get to know her - and love her.

I'd say her numbers are not bad compared to Biden, a 36 year senator vs a virtual unknown. Let's see how she does in interviews and the debate.

Here's a little clip you might find interesting. Charming, isn't she?

YouTube - Palin on energy, Biden, and national security.

The unfortunate truth is that 3/4 of all voters know almost nothing about the candidates, the parties, or the government itsself beyons what they see or hear at face value.

LOL McCain just met the woman and he doesnt even know her. Understand its not about her. Its about McCain and why he picked her. But yea I dont think she can run the country. Personality and sex alone doesnt give you the qaulifications to be Vice President

Palin is going to have a hard time justifying to other women, why she doesn't believe they have a right to an abortion should they be raped.

Poor scared liberals

Will Nobama still hold your hand and make you all feel better when he loses?

No, he wont be found helping anyone after Nov. 4.

The phony will curl up in his million dollar mansion that Rezko bought for him and blame you people for his defeat.

This is a witch hunt statement.
Because she is personally prolife by no means says that she would attempt to force her stand on others. I am prolife but do not attempt to influence others about abortion. Infact the only abortion I honestly stand against is the Partial birth abortion which is a brutal inhumane procedure and often abused and misused. If someone did it to an animal they would be arrested for animal cruelty.
This is a non-issue.
