While Ted Kennedy, Michelle Obama and the Obama's daughters were wowing Denver at the DNC, John McCain was sitting down with Jay Leno and bringing up his years as a POW at unexpected moments.
Making light of McCain's inability to put a number on his real estate holdings last week, Leno joked with the Republican nominee that, "for one million dollars, how many houses do you have?"
Rather than reply with either a real answer or a similarly light-hearted joke, McCain brought up his POW status.
Leno Asks McCain How Many Houses He Has, McCain Answers With POW Status (VIDEO)

What a joke!

And yet the supposedly "liberal" media keeps repeating the myth that McCain is "reluctant" to bring up his military (POW) experience. I thought he had jumped the shark with it a few weeks ago but now it's becoming a punch line. Except with AWM (angry white men).

Now if he would just nominate Guiliani there entire campaign could just be:

G: 9/11, squawk, 9/11 squawk

M: I was a POW for 5 1/2 years, squawk, what was the question?

Let's just hope that we've advanced in the past 20 years from a time when GHW Bush's entire campaign was comprised of singing the national anthem. From reading the posts on here I know that a lot of people haven't!

McSame is senile and has been twisted by his war experience. Of course he answers with POW. It is the defining moment of his life, all he can point to, his crowning acheivement.

Republican solution:

A noun, '911', a verb.
A noun, 'POW', a verb.

And like Pavolv's dogs, the crowd cheers. Anything to avoid the thoughtful solutions to issues. Anything for applause. Forget about our real problems.

I guess, for the same reason der fuhrer says: Noun, POW, a verb.

That sounds like a response from the Obama's people at his pep rallies, not something I hear at a McCain town hall meeting.

Getting your candidates mixed up much?
