Gateway Pundit

Quote:
Obama: "... Now, the one thing that I think is very important is for us to have some humility in how we approach the issue of confronting evil. You know a lot of evil has been perpetrated based on the claim that we were trying to confront evil... In the name of good and I think one thing that's very important is having some humility in recognizing that. You know, just because we think our intentions are good doesn't mean that we're going to be doing good."
Good lord. Not once did he mention the evil of flying planes into buildings, the evil of wishing to wipe another country off the map.

Clearly, to obama, US policy is the real evil in the world.

Yes, it's sad that the person who wants to hold the highest office in the US immediately considered his contituents as evil.

Why don't you post the whole quote in context?

Oh, because evil isn't only about 'them' he hates America? What the hell is wrong with you people? If you can't see evil existing in this nation too (as it exists in all nations, and all of humanity), then you need to get out more.

how to deal with the existence and reaction to evil is not a simple issue, as philosophers over several millennia have discovered. To have a pat answer to this question is intellectually dishonest.

I'm not an extreme right-winger. I'm a registered Republican (I like to have the ability to vote in primaries), but my views lean more Independent.

There's never been a perfect person running for US president, and I'll never say McCain is perfect. I just happen to find Obama to be downright scary. If he's going to call the US as evil, he's just planting more hate into the minds of those across the world who unjustly hate us.

Can't read, bk? Or you just don't want to take the time, make the effort? Seems you want facts a lot, so when a fact or source is given, you want a synopsis. I guess not everyone thinks along the same lines.
