moveon is powerful in the democrat party. it's like the religious freaks for the republicans. without their support, it's hard to win. I get the impression of barack that I get because he's a politician. he's not a different kind of politician. he's a politician.

How on earth is he the puppet of moveon.org?! They're the ones who were mad at him for moving to the center. They're not responsible for his massive fundage, they're a drop in the bucket.

Where do you get the impression the Barack Obama we've been looking at for the last two years is actually a mask? That he goes home and changes into - what?

I could say the "sky is blue" and Obama or his camapign would cry racism. It is a pathetic ploy.

Thank goodness most Americans see through Obama and his victim mentality.
It won't work for him.
Why did you want to know her middle name?

That is totally ridiculous. Do you just hate black people? Or do you not draw the line there?

Regardless, this is why the Obama campaign ad is effective.

McCain had strong standing among independents becuase he was seen as a different kind of Republican. Then he wins the nomination, turns to Rove and his protogees, and forges a relentlessly negative and dishonest campaign.

It will work on some in increasing Obama's negatives (regardless of the validity). But McCain's done a lot of damage to the persona he's created for himself, since the Keating scandal especially.

If you really feel that you and the handful of other posters on here who seem to have no other thoughts in their pretty little heads besides "Racist! Muslim! Black! Black! Black! Shaniqua! Shaniqua! Race Card! Race Card!" are accomplishing anything beyond projecting your own insecurities and inadequacies for all to see, you've got another thing coming.

Ever hear of diminishing returns? Boy who cried wolf? The more you guys try and depict Obama as some crazed racist black militant, the better off he'll be in September and October, when the part of the country who don't pay as much attention see that he's actually just a cool, reasoned, articulate guy proposing policies that most agree with. And they'll contrast him to McCain. Old, nasty, and bitter, running on the same ideas that brought Bush to his stunning approval ratings.

I guess what I'm saying is, be careful what you wish for.

Don't think so my friend. I not excited at the thought of McCain winning, but certainly think he will beat Obama. Before it is over, Obama will trip himself up.

I also think the Obama campaign is so busy screaming "me, me, me, me , me" that they don't really understand the currents going against them. They should not under estimate the "Bradley effect". It does and will exist.
