There is one more John McCain gaffe that the media missed from the now famous CBS interview with Katie Couric.
Cenk Uygur: Another John McCain Gaffe -- Iraq Was the First Major Conflict After 9/11

Why is McCain getting a free pass from the media?

Because McCain is old and senile, they constantly give him a free pass.

I'm starting to agree. He is not fit to be President.

Sadly this is true, he keeps repeating stories but each time the story changes slightly.

5 examples:

We will stay in Iraq until conditions on the ground change
We will stay in Iraq for maybe 100 years
We will stay in Iraq till 2013
We will stay in Iraq till 2010
We will stay in Iraq for 16 months

Which one is the real McCain?

No, he is not fit at all to be President or in charge of much of anything.

See this is exaclty what scares the hell out of me. I concede that Obama is not the perfect human being that many think he should be.

But do we really want McCain's finger on the trigger??

He is correct. Iraq was the first MAJOR conflict after 9/11. Afghanistan was not a full scale war. We went in and shut the Taliban down and it was relatively over for a while, until we let things fester and now Afghanistan is a problem again.

But we attacked Iraq before any new flare ups in Afghanistan. So the senator is correct in stating Iraq is was the first MAJOR conflict after 9/11.

Next.....
