Some great news this morning from Quinnipiac. A new poll shows Obama leading in three key states:

Florida

Obama-47%
McCain-43%

Ohio

Obama-48%
McCain-42%

Pennsylvania

Obama-52%
McCain-40%

One in five voters say McCain's age is a reason to vote against him.

It will be interesting to see how the McCain supporters spin this particular piece of bad news.

No spin, just truth.

McCain still leads in Florida. Oh and PA will be close. This far out is basically meaningless. You can ask Kerry about that.

Are you disputing the poll's results? Even the RCP averages have Obama leading in both Ohio and Pa., only in Fla. does McCain retain a lead. Needless to say, unless your man moves these polls in his direction significantly by election day, which granted is a long distance off, he is in big trouble.

I agree. Although it's fun to ponder the possibilities, isn't it?

Like it or not, polls are as much a part of the election season as turkey is the holiday season. If you don't like them, don't read them. Though somehow I get the impression that if McCain was on top you'd find the polls much more to your liking.

Sanrene, you are really losing credibility now. First of all, you are quoting yourself and giving propositions to your own statements. That's just pathetic. Not only that, but you have numerous posts here that stress nothing but the polls, however, when other posters put up polls that show your pathetic candidate of choice trailing, somehow that is "meaningless". Personally, i don't think i would take any position/job where self-embarrassment is part of a routine responsibilty. Get it together friend !

The polls that are meaningless and suspect are those that have a 2-1 margin in respondents for the dems.

I guess I could put up the most recent polls, like in CT and MN (blue through and through) that show a dead-heat - who would be pathetic then?

Face it - your messiah is doing worse than expected after clinching the nomination - but don't believe me, listen to your fellow dems/lib pundits. They are worried.
