You don't think this will come out in the general? What about the independent groups on the right?
Foxnews just had Obama on. He denied ever being in the church when any of these racist, inflammatory statements were made.
How much do you want to bet that people are scouring hours and hours and hours of these tapes looking for Obama and Wifey in the church during one of these hate-america sermons.
Of course its going to come up again but if something else drastic happens between now and then, it may not have much of a sting by the time it comes up again. My point is luckily for Barack, some of us tend to have short-attention spans.
Oh you better believe they're looking for footage, lol. That's all it will take for this to be over. And I know McCain is sitting back with his heels kicked up like "look at these fools", LOL
We all knew he was involved in the extremist gospel type church and I never agreed with it. Now maybe finally others will see how dangerous it is to put him in office.

This may be true of some people but I have been a supporter of his for a long time and I still am. You can review my past post and verify that. BUT I am extremely unhappy about this and I think he has some explaining to do about just how close he is with this vile and disgusting excuse for a minister.
Obama has made himself clear if you watched Countdown or Anderson Cooper tonight, if that's not good enough for you, so be it. BTW, Rev. Wright is now retired, he is no longer pastor of Obama's church.
Well, I watched him on FOX News ~ interviewed by Major Garrett. He didn't convince me that he was the least bit sorry for his association with the slimy pastor. He acted like it was an inconvenience for him to even have to defend the Reverend.....

Guilt by association?
Obama has condemned what Wright had to say, his campaign has cut what ties there were, Obama was on 3 cable shows tonight repudiating The Rev's remarks and Wright is no longer pastor of his church. If that doesn't please you, then, despite your posts, you were never a true believer to begin with.
Is Obama trying to say that Rev Write says completely different things in church as to what he says on video? Is Obama also saying that because the Rev Write said this on just a few occassions that are on record that it is just a mistake but otherwise he is a good man? If Obama really believes that Write is wrong he should completely distance himself from him. It's like saying that a paedophile only abused one child but the rest of the time he's a alright guy.

Yes, guilt by association. If he hangs around a certain type, well you know the saying. Birds of a feather flock together.

See, I look at it this way. He should have condemned and repudiated such comments a long, long time ago - years ago - if he believed they were in fact wrong, racist, and anti-semetic. It took a firestorm for him to react. And up until just recently, had this loon on one of his committees.
I have a feeling he might share some of these views with the pastor.
What about when Bush cited God in regards of invading Iraq? Was there anydiscussion about why his church led him in this thinking?
I don't remember this discussions happening when this piece of news came out.
