The pastor wasn't making statements like that every time he preached in the past 20 years.
he only needed to do it once.

Yes, I'm sure you wish we'd be quiet and simply follow your savior. (Your phraseology in this post was telling, LOL.) But, alas, we have as much right to comment on this situation as you have to keep insisting it doesn't matter.

Obama, unlike Hillary's mishandling of the Ferraro fiasco, will speak out on the matter. He will be on 3 different shows this evening:

Countdown -- MSNBC 7:00 p (central time)

Hannity & Colmes -- Fox 8:00 p (central time)

Anderson Cooper 360 -- CNN 9:00 p (central time)

From Politico:

Quote:
Wright leaves Obama campaign
Spokesman Tommy Vietor emails:
"Rev. Wright is no longer serving on the African American Religious Leadership Committee."
That cuts Wright's only formal tie to Obama, and answers what was sure to be a question in Obama's interviews tonight: If Geraldine Ferraro had to leave the Clinton campaign, why is Wright different.

I just don't understand how Obama could mentor a man who makes so many extreme statements.
Perhaps he agrees with those statements. Also, consider the statements of his wife recently.

It's about time we started examining who this guy really is. He has largely been given a pass on what he really believes in and stands for. No one attends a church or any other organization for 20 years and hears the hate speech this pastor spews and doesn't walk away immediately not wanting to subject himself and his young impressionable family to such racism; no matter if black or white.

The savior's armour really does have weak spots.

Ya know, I'm someone who hasn't stepped foot in a church for about 6-7 years give or take, I just can't bring myself to care about what some Pastor I've never heard of says. Why should I? Religion has never been a central theme(in fact it barely plays a role) in Obama's campaign

Also if Obama did agree with what Wright preached, by all means please give me an example from his public life where his actions did demonstrate that he believed what is being spouted by Wright. So far I have seen no form of evidence given, well other than the usual BS and all that comes with it...
