It's a no brainer. Sends the Democraps into a tail spin. Sec. of State Rice is Super Qualified. Country is held back from the likes of Pelosi and Reed and political balance is created. Taxes will be kept in check to stimulate the economy. All will be well with two (2) people qualified to be Commander in Chief. Will win with a landslide.

No GOD no, A McCain/Rice ticket is something the Democrats would love to have. I really would like to believe McCain is a lot smarter than that, anyone related in anyway to the Bush administration as running mate would be political suicide for him.

This ticket would be a great way to lose the independent vote completely.

Condi has made some great decisions. Uh huh. Go ahead and pick her for VP. It'll be the last mistake McCain makes in this cycle.

As an Obama supporter I would LOVE to see a McCain/Rice ticket. What better way to connect McCain with the failed policies and tactics of the Bush administration than through his VP - someone who was at the heart of those bad Bush decisions? I would love to see the commercials of her reading the Bin Laden Intelligence report "Bin Laden determined to attack..." and when she said "who would of thought that someone would fly planes..." when she should have known it had been predicted.

She should spend some time trying to retrieve some semblance of her reputation before she does anything else.

Clinton will slip past Obama and take the nomination in that 'special' Clinton way they do things..then see the significance of this match-up...McCain and Rice will beat them at the polls.
Has nothing to do with GWB...Rice will stand on her own accomplishments...how about peace in the middle east? What's she doing now? putting it together...will be the "diplomatic" ace in the "public relations" hole.

I don't understand why this rumor keeps getting spinned on this site. It makes no political sense whatsoever.

whats the use of sending a woman into the middleeast a la Albright and now Rice, where gender bias is linked to religion?

Thats the reality and I mean does anyone want to get anything done? its like trying to cure an itch with a firebrand !!

Albright couldnt get anything done unless Bill stepped in; and i doubt Dubya could help Rice LOL

That would be great! We'd get a qualified woman and a qualified
Black person at the same time! A win-win all around!
