He will fall to Hill by 6 points and Obama by 12 points! He will get the vote of Bush however!
Republican McCain trails Clinton and Obama: poll - Yahoo! News (broken link)
Do you really think polls this far out of a general election are an indication of what will happen?
Hillary cannot win - 50% negatives. She will bring the vote out in droves just to vote against her.
Obama; the bloom is starting to come off the rose. He's a liberal/socialist with pacifist tendencies. His rhetorical speeches are starting to drone in my ear.
I wish it was against the law to have a poll. I like it that the voters will have the next to last word. The last word will be the delegates. Our forefathers were incredible at putting checks and balances in our government.
Meh, last week the LA Times poll showed McCain beating either Democratic candidate. I tend not to trust any of them 8 months before an election. The primaries seem to me like beauty contests because most running have generally the same views, but things start to shift around once the nominees start debating each other in September and October and more people pay attention to the issues and a whole new world of scrutiny is laid to each candidate. How the economy and progress in Iraq is coming along in November will be anybody's guess but will probably sway many votes. Another interesting tidbit is how Obama usually does better in these type of polls, but Clinton continues to best Obama in virtually all the swing states, just another reason not to trust these polls imo.

I think McCain has a better shot at beating Hillary. He's got better arguments against her since she voted for the war. He will not fare well against Obama. This is clear and the Republicans know it. People want CHANGE away from Bush and McCain. Hard for any Republican (or Hillary) to beat Obama when he is the symbol for that now.
I was watching Morning Joe this morning and apparently, a poll came out stating the since the surge is supposedly working, and there is supposedly success in Iraq now, Obama's attacking Hillary on her war vote are meeting with big "so what's" now.

Well my thoughts on the surge is that, "Well, great that it's working...... And we intend to keep up this level of commitment for HOW long???"
Let's be honest. This war has close to bankrupted this country. We can't afford it anymore. As a Republican and a fiscal conservative especially I'm appalled at all of this.
Let's goad the Iraqis one more time into saying they want us to leave and then oblige them.
The surge is working because Al Sadr keeps prolonging the cease fire. He'll keep prolonging it until the election.
I hate to say this, but the whole world seems to be marking time until the election.
