Just being interviewed on CNN right now -- a black man (sorry, don't know his name or position) who, to me, was practically in tears about how hard it was to be a parent tonight -- in short, about how difficult it was going to be to explain to children (in so many words) how a bully could become POTUS and that what happened tonight is a "white lash". He said that Muslims and immigrants are actually terrified about what will happen.
So: the Republicans refused to allow nomination of a SC justice, took democracy hostage. And now they will appoint someone who will let even more big foreign money into American elections, and turn the clock back 100 years.
This nation will be destroyed. Utterly. Handed over, from stem to stern, to multinational corporations and Wall Street.
