Like OMG, he asked if it was the real thing or a copy! Like OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only a pre teen girl would act like that after reading some gossip on social media. ROFL!
Don't use common sense...they have arguments for why you should be outraged.
LMFAO..What was he supposed to say that would you would have approved of? Another pre teen shrieking OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!
It's not really hard. Something like "Thank you for your service. You are the one who earned this, not me, so you should keep it and be proud of it" would have been just fine.
Acting as if was something you get out of a bubble gum machine and that you always wanted one, despite actively avoiding military service is inappropriate to anyone who isn't blinded by Trumpsteria.
He's not crazy. He's an extreme Narcissist. He has at best average intelligence and is poorly read. What he has in droves is excessive self confidence, ambition, and scrupulous desire for attention and recognition.
It's all symptomatic of a clinical Narcissist. Not someone you want running your country. Funny on reality TV.

lol, you have no idea what words were exchanged when he was given that. You only heard a re-telling of the story after the exchange actually happened.
The veteran of a rich kid's military academy now has his Purple Heart. It must have been rough fighting the pain of those awful bone spurs that kept him out of the real military. He put the Purple Heart in his pocket with his loose change and house keys. What a hero.
no, not well stated at all. Read my last post. The guy was fine with what Trump said and that's ALL that matters. Only pre teen mentalities are offended and are saying "Like OMG!!!!!"

Another dumb post. It was a COPY of the real one, the ex-soldier still has the original. Where was he supposed to put it?
It doesn't bother me that he accepted it, or that he put it in his pocket. It's just his response - "I always wanted a Purple Heart" - is such an ODD thing to say, since you have to be wounded to receive one.
Of course, if John McCain had given Trump a Purple Heart, I suppose he would have said "he's supposedly a hero because he was wounded; well, I like heroes who aren't wounded"
