Under President Obama, Democrats have lost 900+ state legislature seats, 12 governors, 69 House seats, 13 Senate seats. That's some legacy. 7:01 AM - 4 Nov 2015
It may not seem like a big deal to Democrats now, but these vast Republican majorities will be VERY problematic for them in the future, regardless if they continue to win the White House.

When a "lib" page like Vox says stuff like this: things just go real.
And yet, you still have threads saying this country is in bad shape economically even though your party has 32 governorship, 28 legislatures (24 control of both legislature and governorship) the US House and Senate.
Meh. You know that WaPo carries the DNC's water. And Sargent is biased to the left. As one poster said to him (and I'm paraphrasing) why not look all the way back to when Lincoln was president to make his (Sargent's) case?

What does that have to do with the article ?
It simply counts how many seats where there in 2006, instead of 2008 because it is argued that Barack Obama is the very reason those seats were even won to be lost in 2010 or 2014.

People are THAT pissed at the Dems because they've got the rep of messing up things. Too; the Repubs really didn't start getting back in power till 1 year ago.

That is untrue. Your party has controlled the US House and the majority of governorships and Legislatures since 2010.
I can give you the specific break down if you like.
The only case where you would be right is the US senate and considering there wasnt a functional majority for Democrats there either, its hard to even not count that as a republican win.
People werent mad at Democrats, they were made at the narrative republicans have created because Democrats werent even in power.

And Rory Cooper is biased to the right. You did realize that, right?
