Yeah I saw that.. Not surprising.

Hard to find anyone out of Mass that gives the guy positive reviews for his performance as governor.

At least he beat out Michigan and post-Katrina Louisiana in job creation.

I've heard from a lot of Mass. people who feel Romney did an excellent job. He brought them out of the hole working with mostly democrats. Job growth was slower than the rest of the nation because when he came in to office there were no efforts being made to attract new companies. He had start that process from scratch.

right on, eagledraw

When Romney came into office MA was losing jobs every month. They had only about a dozen or so companies considering moving to MA, and no salesforce actively recruiting. Romney worked w/the legislature putting together an incentive package. About 1/2 way into his governorship they began to see the fruits of their efforts. They were adding jobs every month instead of losing them, and over 200 companies were actively being recruited to come to the state. You have to look at where things started from.

Romney's a guy who understands economics. He consistently brings smart people together to make progress. You can't just wave your little fairy wand and things are all better by tomorrow. Solid change takes time and he knows how to put things into place to bring progress and move us to a stronger economy.

This guy knows how to actually stimulate the economy. If you only hand out a small amount of money to the average American who's already over their ears in debt, and will just turn around and spend it, that's not stimulating the economy.

You need to have better incentives for people to move capital and get a better return on their money. Mitt knows how to do that. Benefits for businesses who create jobs. Zero percent tax rate on savings, capital gains, and dividends. So the average American can save without penalties.

His ideas encourage saving, investment, job growth and getting rid of wasteful everything. He's for self-reliance and small government. I hope he takes an axe to the excesses in the federal government. I don't want a government who grows bigger and bigger every day. Government can't fix your problems, you have to.
