With the current election, JFK's "Profiles in Courage" is an interesting book to read. It says much about the mentality of politicians.

Pick it up at your library, and read it.

I love this book! We think politics have changed so much, but when you read this book and realized how relevant it is to today, it really tells you that while many things have changed, the underlying tensions of a politicians's life still have not changed. Do you know if JFK ever wrote any commentary on this book after he became President? I always wonder how much his perspective changed from junior Senator to President.
