The 3 that are standing at the convention will be McCain, Huckabee and either Paul or Rudy. Those will be the ones that have the cash and people to go the distance. Romney will be a bad memory by then.

He's in the GOP debate tonight from SC. It'll be on Fox. Rudy will snicker while he talks. Romney will smile a lot. And Huckabee will try to wrap himself in Paul's ideas while distancing himself as much as possible. Thompson will probably yawn.

Can anyone else think of a better characterization of these candidates. Nicely done. Rep to you.

Edit: I have to spread it around. Oh well, nicely done anyways.

I thought i was the only one that thought Romney appeared very cold and untrustworthy. I heard him rant on the other day about forcing people to get insurance and if they don't, then that's their problem. Are you kidding me??? How about we address the issue of how health insurance is so unaffordable for the average american family? He acts as if people don't purchase insurance because they don't care. It never even crosses his mind that it's a matter of not being able to. But then, with his money, I guess he lives in another world because he cannot relate to the average person. I can't wait for him to drop out.

Oh, well, it's beyond dispute that Republicans think everyone is supposed to rely on themselves for everything they need in their lives. It's called taking personal responsibility. Of course, Republicans can't acknowledge that some people can't through no fault of their own.

I'm not looking for someone to give me warm fuzzies. I want a consistent conservative to represent the party. They don't have to be funny, charming or pretty either. It's not a personality or beauty contest folks..........

They don't because he is not the annointed ones. They are afraid of him and the people who like him. There is no way in hell that DC and the idiot pundets, and those that follow their lead, want an independent thinker and one who actually wants to live by the Constitution, something that even so many in here do not seem to understand.
