Here's a very interesting article which talks about how conservative media failed it's followers during this past presidential election by creating it's own isolated conservative echo chamber:

How Conservative Media Lost to the MSM and Failed the Rank and File - Atlantic Mobile

I'm tired of them blaming the "librul mainstream media" though. I only see that when they lose. I heard nothing about this media when the Repubs cleaned up in 2010, or had the White House for 8 years.

It's only used as an excuse

Simply because their lies were exposed to the public.

Bill Mahrer was right. These Republicans were and still are living in a bubble and alternative universe. If you get all your news from Fox News and believe what they say to be the gospel truth, then you are setting yourself for a fall. You can't make an informed decision if all you wear is rose colored glasses.

This was exactly what happened with MSNBC during the Wisconsin Recall. For weeks it was nothing but "When Walker is kicked out" and "When the Dems take back the Wisconsin House". To say that this opinion was shared by the liberal loonies on this board would be a gross understatement. The look of shock on the faces of Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, et al when the returns came in was hoot.

Of course the Atlantic didn't feel the need to write an article about that one.

Thank you for posting this article. I wholeheartedly agree, especially with the last paragraph.

Fox news reported the polls. All of the polls not just the ones showing Romney winning.

What's a "librul"?

no.. they gloss over the polls that had Obama winning and focused on the polls that had Obama losing and used it like it was the gospel.

Repubs live in a bubble and only hear what suits them. I heard Luntz and Hannity talking for a minute and Luntz said Repubs need to start listening to what the public wants, start asking questions instead of barking at voters...

What did Hannity do? He ignored him and continued to bark about how Obama should be ashamed for winning.

The biggest problem with the repubs though is their sources of information. FoxNews, Hannity, Rush, Coulter, etc... these people make more money when a Dem is in office. Their listeners aren't aware of the game being played on them.
